It's a family business — Tom's son Jake works the second bay — built on written quotes, fair prices and never doing work you didn't agree to.

A fully licensed Class 4 & 7 MOT test station — station number VTS 12345. The test is done properly, every time.
Written quotes only
We quote every job in writing — with photos — before we touch it. You'll never get a surprise on collection.
We'll tell you the truth
If a repair you expected isn't actually needed, we'll say so. We'd rather keep you for ten years than overcharge you once.

Tom Reilly
Founder & lead mechanic
Tom opened Forge in 2011 after fifteen years on the tools at a main dealer, tired of watching customers pushed into work they didn't need. He's a licensed MOT tester and still works a bay most days.
Jake Reilly
Mechanic
Tom's son Jake came up through an apprenticeship at the garage and now runs the second bay. He's the one most likely to talk you through exactly what he found and why.
